With the DesignJet 500 510 and 800 plotter models occasionally you will get printing that appears to be ghosting otherwise known as off set or double printing of lines and text. This offset printing usually has a few causes. Worn or damaged carriage belt, dirt or debris in the carriage motor drive gear teeth, improperly seated trailing cable or damaged, dirty or malfunctioning drive roller encoder sensor or drive roller encoder. more »
61:05 and 63:03 error codes are not listed in the service manual. These error codes could be related to error code “79†which causes the printer to hang in “Initializing†in the control panel. more »
